Fem Fel is a musician (rapper, songwriter) from London, UK. Known originally by his South London roots & his collaborations with: Giggs, Skepta, Wretch 32, Sneakbo, Krept and Konan, Blade Brown, Mikill Pane, English Frank He's also know by his debut L.P. 'Eyes Closed' which gained support from BBC Radio 1Xtra, The Independent, The Metro, Mixmag, FHM, Fact, MTV and RWD magazine
What he's not so well known for is his diverse & more current collaborations: Ed Hardcourt Chew Lips, Let the Music Play (otherwise known as Faithless), One Direction writer Fiona Bevan, Jamie Morrison from the Stereophonics, Dan Dare (Delilah, Wiley) & Alex Morris (Robert Owens, Rui Da Silva, Ursa Minor). Building on Fem's early hip hop roots, the new crop of sounds intends to push forward, & subvert the genera . Fem's current excursions in sound are born of his love of the eclectic & his thirst to learn all aspects of music. The new E.P. ' < o (Left of center)' merges his distinctive rap vocal with alternative minimalist genres such as jazz, chill wave, techno & electronica. '< o (Left of center)' is one of 2 Forthcoming E.P.s With the second instalment due next year.
